Parallel Collage - Poem

This surrealist game requires a minimum of 3 players.

Each player gives 2 graphic images and 2 lines of poetic text to the other players. All players then use the images and lines of text (including their own) to construct a collage-image and collage-poem. In the process of construction, a player can modify any item, in any way desired. Until everyone is finished, each person's work is kept hidden. When all images and poems are complete, they are shared among the players, with a comparison of the results.

Jason Martian

A pityful glimpse at what should have been a smile.

Rose bud cheeks dripping with soiled promises.

Ribitch

Wandering in a pool of stagnant fish, a woman in a black veil smokes.

Two apples lay in the corner of my mouth

Richard Genovese

A gathering of sparks ╦ in fire from ice, she floats... they always float.

Eric Bragg

Tender yeast fishhooks race through low tides, sifting through ambergris.

The medieval Clancy coat-of-arms bears the sharp teeth of the predator over a bamboo shield, relishing the humidity.

Daniel Boyer

The whiteness of the eggshell skies

like the fairest climes where wandered the dainty knight.

Zazie

Nothing moves me like the toy piano

when black worms slowly crawl under a thin blanket of snow digging in front of the copper mine for green-red oisters.
